WHY AM I A TEACHER?

I have always wanted to be a teacher, from when I was a little girl.  My dad was a science teacher and he shared his passion for all the living things around us and its mysteries.  I grew up wanting to become only one thing - a teacher.  I did really well in school and could have become anything that I wanted.  Many people were telling me to become a lawyer or engineer - something that paid way better than teaching.  To me, it was never about the money, it was about the passion and how it made me feel to touch the lives of kids.  I love learning, I love science, love kids, and I love to share my knowledge and see people grow as learners.  I always hope that I can help a student toward a better future.  Nothing is more rewarding than knowing that I touched a life in a positive way!
